About Classr

Built for Students Who Want More

Classr was created after seeing how fragmented academic support can feel for students and families. Traditional tutoring often happens one session at a time — without continuity, strategy, or clear communication.

Our story

A different kind of academic service.

We built Classr to offer something more structured: thoughtful academic mentorship, carefully selected mentors, parent visibility, and long-term student support. Not a marketplace. Not a directory. A service.

Classr is founder-led, with a carefully selected and growing mentor network across Canada. Every decision we make — from who we hire to how we communicate with families — reflects a commitment to quality over scale.

We believe the best academic support feels less like a service and more like having the right person in your corner. That is what we are building.

Our mission

"Our mission is to make exceptional academic mentorship accessible to ambitious students — and to give families the peace of mind that comes from knowing their child is truly supported."

What we stand for

Three things we never compromise on.

Selectivity

We accept fewer than 10% of mentor applicants. Quality over volume, always. Every mentor on the platform has been interviewed, vetted, and observed before being matched with a student.

Continuity

Students are paired with a dedicated mentor — not rotated between strangers. The relationship is what makes mentorship work, and we protect it.

Transparency

Parents have full visibility into their child's progress. Session notes, goal tracking, and regular updates mean no guessing and no chasing for information.

Our mentors

Chosen carefully. Trusted completely.

Every Classr mentor holds credentials from recognized institutions and has demonstrated not just subject mastery but the ability to teach, communicate, and build trust with students.

Our selection process includes an application review, a subject assessment, a structured interview, and observation of a trial session. Fewer than 10% of applicants are accepted.
